He was doing the shooting for the making video of his forthcoming film, Wanted. Tomorrow is his girlfriend Katrina Kaif’s birthday and she is in London. So we wondered whether he would be flying to London tonight

A source close to the controversial star however told us, “Salman is shooting today and tomorrow as well. It is very less likely that he would excuse himself out of professional commitments.”

Another insider belonging to his coterie reveals, “Salman had proposed a private party for Katrina for her birthday in Mumbai which would have guests only of her choice and it won’t be a repeat of anything like what it happened last year. He was trying to convince her till the last minute she left for London on Saturday but she had already made her mind to celebrate it with her family. This thing didn’t leave him too pleased. So maybe, that’s why he is not too enthusiastic of making a London trip, just for her birthday.”

But well knowing the moody Khan you never know, he may just catch the first flight tomorrow morning and land at her doorstep.

Celina warns Baba Ramdev to stay off Gay bedrooms

Celina Jaitley and Baba Ramdev are involved in raging war of words! Apparently, it all started with the end of 145 year old rule declaring homosexuality a crime by the Delhi High Court. That’s when Baba Ramdev decided to take matters into his own hands and called homosexuality a ‘disease’ which he could cure through yoga!

Baba promenaded his obvious ignorance on the subject by calling homosexuals- animals and homosexuality a virus that can be cured through yoga.

Says Baba Ramdev, “Homosexuality is like a virus and if it affects you, you have nowhere to go, they (gays) are like animals who do not realize what brings happiness. They are selfish and only care about themselves and not their families.”

Celina, who has of late become a self-proclaimed Gay rights spokesperson was naturally hurt by Baba’s accusations, she took it upon herself to enlighten baba, says Celina, “With all due respects to Baba Ramdev he may have the so called ‘cure’ but the point is LGBT community does NOT see homosexuality as a disease. People should not be judged on basis of what they do in their bedroom because if it was only about that… some of our taxes would have to be deployed into a special bedroom vigilance force, which I am sure these babas would love to lead.”

Celina called Baba Ramdev ‘Samaaj Ka Thekedaar’ and feels that Baba is on a rant against homosexuality because of his ‘remote upbringing and closed mindset’. Adding further, she said that Baba should limit himself to teaching yoga as ‘he cannot and does not have the qualification or degrees to diagnose an illness without any medical background because it would fall under fake medical malpractice’.

Parting with her final word Celina warned, “Homosexuals are not interfering in anyone’s life or religion but unfortunately everyone wants to interfere in theirs and tell them how they should eat, sleep and have sex. Even if Baba Ramdev screams from every rooftop of India, the reality is homosexuality will not cease to exist.”

Unable to come up with a sound reason Baba Ramdev counterattacked, and raised objections on Celina’s character, he said, “These actresses know nothing about Bhartiya sanskriti. They stay away from their parents and have no morals. Unke partner har mahine badalte hai. Jiske pas jitna gyan hota hai woh itna hi sach janta hai. Inka apna hi marg hai bus usme hi chal rahe hai.”

Well the LGBT community is seriously at loss with such spokespersons and mud-slinging that loses to illogic debates devoid of any understanding of the issue of homosexuality.

Katrina Kaif has six sisters - three older and three younger. She also has a brother, a professional skier and rock climber. The siblings have been brought up by her mother, a Harvard graduate and successful lawyer, who gave it all up to join a charitable organization. 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson was gay and had a string of male lovers, a new book claims.

Biographer Ian Halperin in his book "Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson" claims that the pop star would sneak out of his home at midnight dressed as woman keep his dates with his lovers, 'Sun online' reported.

Halperin claims that he interviewed many people close to Jackson, who told him that the pop star was homosexual. He also claims to have tracked down at least two of his lovers.

"Virtually everybody has told me. Even those who are his most ardent defenders, people who maintain he is innocent of the molestation charges, insist that he is homosexually inclined," Halperin said.

The biographer claims to have tracked down at least two lovers of the pop star and says one of them is a Hollywood waiter and an aspiring actor, "Lawrence".

I didn't want Shiney's fame to come home: wife

She meets her Bollywood actor-husband Shiney Ahuja once a week in jail and hasn't seen her daughter for almost a month. Anupam Ahuja had once made a conscious decision to stay away from the limelight, but suddenly finds the spotlight on her family after her spouse was accused of rape.

"Shiney and I had made a conscious decision that I staay away from the limelight so that our child would grow up in a normal environment," said Anupam, rubbishing reports that she had separated from Shiney.

"I wanted him to go out like any job holder and come home to us in the evening. I didn't want his fame to come home with him."

Shiney was arrested on June 14 after his teenaged domestic help accused him of raping her. A Mumbai court rejected the bail application filed by the Bollywood star who will continue to be in judicial custody till July 16. He is currently lodged in the Arthur Road jail.

But wife Anupam hasn't lost her faith in him. She refuses to even consider her husband's guilt, stands by him and applauds him for his strength of will in these trying times.

Asked how frequently she is able to meet him, Anupam said: "Once a week".

Excerpts from the interview:

Your husband's bail application has been rejected.

(Sighs) Yes, it has been rejected. Shiney and I have both surrendered to the will of god. We both know the final verdict will come from up there from god. We also have faith that we'll come out of this stronger and closer to each other than we were ever before.

Now that the fresh bail plea has been rejected what is your next plan of action?

Our lawyer will go again. We'll go through the legal process and trust the judiciary completely. I will continue to walk with as much dignity as possible.

Some people within the film industry seem to believe you've abandoned Shiney that you don't go to meet him in jail?

That's rubbish. Complete rubbish. How can I abandon my soulmate? I've been with him for so many years. It happened just once. You know, he wasn't well and wasn't expected to go to court. That's why I wasn't with him that one time. The next thing I read, I had abandoned him. So ridiculous. How can I abandon him? He's not only my husband but also my baby's father. We've known each other for 15 years.

Are you shocked by the scarcity of support from within the film industry?

No, I get a lot of SMS from the Shiney's colleagues. Maybe they aren't coming forward to speak visibly.

What's the point of invisible support?

My biggest support is god. Not a leaf moves without His permission. It was in our destiny to go through this ordeal. From the industry, Anurag Basu, Sudhir Mishra, producers Tito-Tony, Jahnu Baruah, Kunal Shivdasani, Pritish Nandy, Ketan Mehta and Soha Ali Khan have been supportive. I don't know that many film people. I never went out to befriend them. Shiney and I had made a conscious decision that I stay away from the limelight so that our child would grow up in a normal environment. I wanted him to go out like any jobholder and home to us in the evening. I didn't want his fame to come home with him.

You've coped well with much dignity?

My strength comes from god and my love for my husband.

How is your little baby coping?

I haven't seen her since June 14. She is in Delhi with her nana-nani (maternal grandparents). I don't want her to get any of the negative vibrations around me.

Doesn't it all seem unreal to you?

It's bizarre...illogical. It is suicidal. Nobody would do such a thing. You're right in your observation. But I can't say anything right now. Everything is sub judice. I don't want to hurt his case in any way. But this is not the Shiney I spent 15 years with. This is someone else they're talking about.

Do you still love him?

I love my husband. I love him more than ever. I derive strength from him. When I met him (in prison), he was emotional but he made me strong for both of us. Shiney and I talk to each other by talking to god.

How frequently are you able to meet him?

Once a week.

How is he coping?

At first he was unable to comprehend what was happening to him, and that's quite understandable. But with Sai Baba's strength he has come to terms with his predicament. He's coping better.

Can you give him home made food?

No, it isn't allowed.

Where are you staying in Mumbai, now that your house has been sealed?

No our home is not sealed anymore. I don't stay there permanently. But I go there. I'm dividing my time between our home and temples. I also stay at Ashok bhaiyya's (director Ashok Pundit) home.

Shiney is very lucky to have a wife like you.

I'm lucky to have a husband like him. Seeing how he's coping with the crisis in our life, I'm prouder of him than ever before.

Do you hope to have a normal life again?

Oh we will. We will. We've walked together for 15 years and will continue to do so. We've just encountered some bump in the road.

"When director Soham Shah narrated the script, I did not even think wearing a bikini was a big thing. It was logical to the script," says the actress.

When asked if she felt uncomfortable doing the bikini shoot, she says: "On the day of the shoot, the weather was weird. It was freezing cold, but apart from that, it was like any other scene in the film for me". "Shruti worked out for the shoot and got in shape. Moreover, she continues her rigorous work out sessions to maintain her toned body. We shot the sequence in Cape Town. The temperature was - 2 degrees Celsius. She had to brave the icy weather for the shoot," says director Soham.

Talking about the shoot, he says: "Besides Shruti, the shot has Imran Khan, Ravi Kishan and Mithun Chakraborty. Shruti was not at all apprehensive about wearing a two-piece. When we told her about the scene, she totally understood it. Not just wearing the bikini, Shruti had to also brave Ravi Kishan's lusty character, who pins his eyes on her in the shoot." The swimsuit has been designed by Soham's wife and fashion designer Binal Shah.

"I bought a plain Bebe bikini that fitted Shruti perfectly. I then embellished it with pearls in shades of green that matched the night pool ambience," she says.

Well, for a debutante, Shruti is surely confident and inspiring.
